Harry was born in Glen Innes NSW in 1934. His father went to the second world war with the Gull Force  and was taken  prisoner by the Japanese  on Ambon. After the war the family moved to Sydney and lived for two years at Dee Why. Then they bought a house in Greenwich and Harry attended North Sydney Technical High School. In 1963 Harry and Jill were married and moved to Regents Park. Harry worked at Macquarie University for twenty three years and  retired in 1995. He now teaches computing for the University of the third age at Liverpool, Walks on Mondays and the first Saturday of the month. And does other things.  Harry and Jill have a son Malcolm who is married to Ellen. They have two sons Lachlan and Matthew.
